Meet the visionary leaders driving Africa's intellectual excellence.

A lecturer in strategy and leadership, researcher in social sciences and African cultures, Dr K. Fokam is the architect of a vast international network of rural development microbanks, known as MC², whose aim is to enable disadvantaged populations to take their destiny into their own hands, to count first on themselves, to set in motion the engine of wealth creation and above all to ensure an equitable sharing of that wealth among all members of the community. The MC² movement enables the community to be together, to pool their assets, their savings, their labour, to win together.
This approach reflects the Grassfield proverb « tack pouh tse kua pouck oh » — in a literal translation: « One hand cannot tie a bundle of wood ». To someone who says « Thank you », the reply is: « A tse djom peh dje ban ho », which means: « In abundance, there is no poverty. »
He is also the founding president of the KFOKAM Institute of Excellence, a polytechnic university with its campus in Yaoundé, Cameroon, which trains leaders for the Africa of tomorrow.
The author of numerous publications, he has an extensive bibliography that includes, among other titles:
To reach as many Africans as possible on profound issues of African awakening — such as leadership, critical thinking, entrepreneurship, and failure —, he created the Eveil collection at éditions GP Maisonneuve Larose, a series of six books published between 2021 and 2026.
Distinguished leaders united by a shared vision for Africa's intellectual sovereignty and sustainable development.
